Does your ice resurfacing machine talk to your hot water tank ? If it doesn't, you are pouring hot water and money down the drain.

I am sure you are familiar with this scenario. Someone starts to fill the hot water tank on the resurfacing machine, then leaves and gets involved with something else. When they return the tank is overflowing sending costly hot water down the drain.
Not only does this cost money but it can degrade the quality of your ice surface. If the tank has been overflowing for a long time you get to the point where you are now filling it with warm or even cold water.
Another all too familiar scenario. It is 5 minutes to ice cut and the operator has forgotten to fill the resurfacer. Then resurfacing has to be delayed causing scheduling problems.
These problems are eliminated with the patented Aquamatictm fill control. The control consists of a remote sensor mounted on the resurfacing machine, a solenoid valve and a control unit. When the resurfacing tank is full and starts to overflow, the sensor detects it and sends a radio signal to the control unit which then shuts off the hot water valve. The system is automatic. You do not need to pay someone to stand there and watch the resurfacer tank fill.
Ice cut scheduling is also simplified with the Time Delay fill. Just program the fill control like an alarm clock for a set time (e.g. 11:30am) or an interval (e.g. 90 minutes**), put the hose in the filler, hit the start switch and forget it. At the programmed time, the control will fill the resurfacer tank and shut itself off when the tank is full.
